Why do republicans always seem to bring up George Soros?

Pretty much every time I ask a question about liberals republicans mention billionaire George Soros. Now sure hes rich, and yes he likes democrats, and yes he wants maryjane to be legal (but who doesn’t?). I really don’t see what the problem is that you have with him.
In my opinion if you don’t want pot to be legal you have oviously never tried it!
